Ever since the lockdown period was extended, many families dependent on daily wages found it difficult to run the family without basic ration items particularly rice. Downtrodden and marginalized People who are living in slum areas and do not possess a ration card suffered a lot for their basic food itself.
Our NURTURE organization has approached FCI (Food Corporation Of India) and got sanction for 500Kgs of rice in a subsidiary price and distributed this boil rice to 100 families including one old age home and girl children hostel.
Mr A Sivananthan /GS/NURTURE, Mr Surendar / BHEL, Mr V Sivakumar /BHEL and Mr S Sivaramakrishnan / SBI distributed the relief materials to the affected people in the following areas on 25.04.2020.

- Contract Sanitation workers in ADW Hostel
- Truwdes old age home in Valavandankottai
- Anbagam underprivileged Children Hostel
